White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders has officially confirmed that Mr. Steve Bannon, President Donald Trump’s chief strategist, quit his job at the White House on August 19, ending his short time in the administration.

In an interview with American Prospect, Mr. Bannon said that the US would not deploy any military measures against North Korea, while previously, President Trump had stated that North Korea would suffer `firepower and prosperity`.

Chief strategist Bannon is the next figure to leave the Trump administration in the cycle of personnel changes at the White House in recent months.
