Russia is ready for dialogue, Hungary predicts when the Ukraine conflict will end

In an interview with Channel One television channel on April 22, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Russian President Vladimir Putin repeatedly emphasized that Moscow supports a peaceful solution to the war in Ukraine.

On the other hand, he emphasized that Ukraine has rejected the possibility of negotiations with Russia and so far there has been no change on this issue.

Previously, at a meeting with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko on April 11, President Putin affirmed that Russia has never refused to resolve disputes peacefully.

The Russia-Ukraine conflict has entered its third year.

Moscow declared that Russia is ready for dialogue to end the conflict in Ukraine, but only on equal conditions, new realities and taking into account Russia’s interests.

Moscow said that Russia and Ukraine were close to reaching a peace agreement to end the conflict in March 2022, but the West intervened to persuade Kiev to continue fighting to cause strategic defeat for Russia on the battlefield.

Predicting the Russia-Ukraine conflict, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said on April 22 that this war could end by the end of 2025 if those who support peace, not war, win in the war.

Mr. Orban believes that, if peace advocates win the elections to the European Parliament, `military decisions in Europe could be slowed down, stopped or even canceled.`
